After the state took over investigation of the alleged sexual assault of a 4-month old girl at a Killeen day care, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services has issued the Little Blessings Child Care Center a letter stating that the center’s child care license would be revoked.
The letter cites the alleged February 20 sexual assault of the young child while under the care of the center as well as previous violations by the daycare: “You, as the owner and director of this child care operation, were responsible for ensuring it operated in compliance with minimum standards for licensed child care centers,” the letter states. “Within the past two weeks, findings of abuse, neglect and serious deficiencies with minimum standards have been made against your child care operation.”
