The reports of daycare abuse just keep rolling in. Take for example this story about a man who has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly molesting a three-year-old girl. Three years old?! What kind of monster does this to children? Apparently, a monster like Christopher John Schneider.

He even admitted to inappropriately touching the young girl after he was arrested. And how did he gain access to this young girl? It was his wife’s daycare. Deborah had been providing daycare services since 1995 from her home in St. Paul. At the time of the incident, officials reported that there were 14 other children being taken care of at the Schneider residence. Schneider is currently being held at the Dakota County Jail with the bail set at half a million dollars. Let’s hope he never makes it out!

Another incident was reported in Columbia Falls, Montana, where a daycare worker was accused of molesting two young girls. He turned himself in to police last week. Pete Anthony Ampudia says that he is innocent. “He’s completely devastated by this,” said Ampudias attorney, adding that she expects the case to go to trial. The alleged abuse occurred around nap time at his wife’s daycare facility. Each of the two girls told their parents that they had been molested and the mothers in turn reported the abuse to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services.

Ampudia did pass a lie detector test, but that doesn’t necessarily prove his innocence. We will keep you updated as his case progresses. If you believe your child may be the victim of daycare abuse, don’t hesitate to contact a daycare abuse attorney.
