Don’t forget to ask questions of the manager regarding child safety and policies in place to protect the class from daycare abuse. What makes a good daycare center? Defensive policies that have been set in place against the threat of daycare abuse and neglect would certainly be a positive. The best daycare you can choose should share all six of these characteristics:
- The center maintains a good reputation
- There are strict rules in place to protect the children
- There is a stimulating curriculum for learning
- The staff is qualified to work with children and genuinely caring
- The facilities are clean and hygienic
- The center is licensed and in good standing This is what every daycare center should be.
After all, they are keeping watch of our most valuable possessions—our children.
